CrashProof Prosperity

Crashproof Prosperity…sounds like two words that only went together a long time ago in some Utopian legend…perhaps in Arthur’s court at Camelot?

Well, if Camelot is required to put “Crashproof” and “Prosperity” together in the same sentence, then Kip Herriage, Gerald Celente, and Wayne Allyn Root must be knights of the round table. If anyone can teach Crashproof prosperity, it would be them.

They are all self-made millionaires with proven track records. They all run their own companies, so they know business. They all predicted the collapse in 2008, so they know the economy.

Gerald Celente has devoted his life to predicting trends on the economic, social, business, and world stages for the past three decades. He predicted the collapse of the Soviet Union, the War in Iraq, terrorist activities on US soil, the crash of 2008…and hundreds more, all before they happened. His Trends Journal is part of CrashProof Prosperity.

Kip Herriage has built a company that is now active in over 100 countries around the world. He also publishes the VRA Newsletter, which has enabled hundreds of subscribers to experience exponentially larger gains than what they could expect from the usually mutual fund portfolios recommended by most financial advisors.

Wayne Allyn Root is one of the most colorful businessmen and politicians in the USA today. He has a vice presidential candidacy under his belt and is likely to be the Libertarian Presidential Candidate in 2012. His business and political insight is invaluable to discovering what is happening with the North American and world economies at any given time.

The Crashproof Prosperity line up is incredible, especially considering the price at just a fraction of what Kip Herriage is charging for his VRA letter on its own. insiders have said that any one of the Crashproof team would be worth the price on their own, but they are including all three.

The product will be available for purchase on February 14, in time for Valentine’s day, with a pre-launch running the week and a half leading up to that day.

Creating An Effective eNewsletter That Gets Read

Important Format Components to Include In Your Information-Based Newsletter

I sign up for a lot of digital newsletters. Mostly because I anticipate one of these three benefits from being on that person or companys list:

1. Receive details on sales and discounts
2. Be entertained or inspired
3. Learn something of value

Most people are like me and will gladly provide their name and email address for at least one of the above benefits.

Ive written a lot about the reasons WHY an entrepreneur or business should be sending out regular newsletters and todays article focuses on the 3rd reason provided above creating information-based newsletters that your subscribers will love.

What To Keep In Mind for Your Newsletter

First, heres a few tips on what you want to be thinking about as you compose your next email send out. Youll want to:

– Offer something of value; be informative.
– Lose the sales-pitch, aim to educate instead. Aim for 90% educational content and 10% promotional. (The exception to this rule is if you are a B2C company that sells products where people are signing up to receive special discounts to subscribers.)
– Be personable; let people get to know, like and trust you.
– Be concise .
– Be consistent .
– Use a compelling subject and opening line.
– Adhere to Anti-Spam and CASL laws ensure its easy for people to unsubscribe while using a trusted newsletter service provider.
– Use graphics, headings and white space to make the newsletter visually appealing and easy to read.

So before you dive into writing, its important to plan your newsletter to get optimal results.

Here is a summary of the components that should make up your value-driven newsletter:

7 Important Format Components to Include In Your Information-Based Newsletter

1. Begin With a Personal Note

In order to build a “know like and trust” factor with your readers, you want to give them some insight to who you are personally. Im not saying you have to share what you ate for breakfast that morning (unless nutrition is your business!) but do share something casual or interesting that your readers would love to know more about.

If you feel uncomfortable with sharing personal information, then share what seminars youve taken, what books youve read, what hobby youre into anything so people make a connection that you are a human being just like them!

Include a photo pertaining to what youre talking about if you can as this enhances the relationship building you want to achieve.

2. Have a Client Showcase/Raving Fans Section

This can be in the form of showcasing new clients or a way to post client testimonials who are your raving fans.

Make this section more than just a couple of sentences you want this to be more a short case study that details the benefits of what you did for a client and why they are so happy with your product/service.

Have a photo of the client and link to their website so it becomes a win-win scenario and they get good exposure for writing you such a rave review.

3. Include a Feature Article

When it comes to providing something of value to your readers, this should the main feature of your newsletter.

There are a couple of ways to do this and I suggest you give them both a try and monitor your results:

1. Place the full article in the body of the newsletter OR
2. Have just the first couple of paragraphs of the article in the newsletter and then link to the full article that is also posted in your blog. This serves a couple of purposes:
1. Sends people back to your website and
2. The article posted in the blog is great for search engines and can also be posted to your social media sites at the same time.
Be sure to add a note at the bottom of your article inviting readers to repurpose it in their own newsletters or website and/or share it to their social media followers.

Give them a short paragraph that must accompany the repurposed article that provides a call to action for the reader to go to your site and get your free giveaway or sign up for your newsletter.

4. Add a Schedule of Where You Will Be

If you do presentations, talks, webinars, podcasts, demonstrations or anything where the public could come and see or hear you, add this section that details the dates of these events and what youll be doing.

If you are wanting to showcase yourself as an expert in your industry, include other events such as attending seminars, high-end coaching sessions or travel destinations.

5. Have a Promotional Section

Just because we dont want the newsletter to be salesy doesnt mean we shouldnt let our subscribers know what we have to offer.

In fact, I highly recommend adding such a section to your newsletter so you dont become known as someone who ONLY provides valuable content and then when you DO want to promote something, they will leave in disgust! (Yes, Ive learned this lesson myself.)

So create a section that is either image based or text and image that provides enough information to compel people to click and read more about your offer.

6. Provide Recommendations

This section can be used for you to recommend something you would find of value to your readers. This can be a book, a recipe, a service or product whatever you wish!

If possible, you can use this opportunity to become an affiliate of the item you are promoting and gain commissions on any sales that might come of it.

7. End With Your Bio/Profile

Conclude your newsletter with a section at the bottom reminding your readers of who you are. Craft a concise “20 second elevator pitch” that speaks to the problems people have that you can solve for them.

Finish with a call to action by contacting you for a free get acquainted session or whatever your free offer is.

Many clients shy away from writing a newsletter because they dont know what to write about. Heres a suggestion: think about a question a client asked you this week or think about an interesting idea you came across you want to share with your readers.

Start writing down what you want to say dont worry about the grammar, just get your thoughts onto paper. Once that hard part is done, then flush out the rest of your newsletter by following the formula above.

Writing a consistent newsletter does take commitment and I know it took me a few years before I got serious with my commitment of delivering valuable content to my readers every Tuesday.

Depression Education – Five Things You Must Know

A misconception about depression is that if a person feels intense sadness for a small period of time in reaction to some event, then that is depression. Not to imply that depression cannot be in reaction to an event, but crying after the loss of a life in the family is not depression- that is called the grieving process. That process is necessary and healthy, capable of lasting days.

The grieving process or normal sadness becomes no longer healthy when that crying goes on for weeks to months and includes feelings of worthlessness, helplessness and hopelessness for oneself and for one’s own life. But a diagnosis of depression is not only comprised of a long duration of a sad feeling. Five things everyone should keep in mind when trying to detect possible depression themselves or those close to them are:
Depression can be treated with medication, psychological counseling, or a melding of the two. The counseling is necessary to discuss the loss of interest in activities a depressed person may have enjoyed and/or loss of concentration with work/school. By discussing what the depressed was getting out of an activity, he/she may slowly find reason to recommit to doing the activity, which can be therapeutic on many different levels.

Because depression tends to be internalized, it manifests itself as self hatred. Having thoughts of suicide can oftentimes seem to the depressed person who is thinking them a safe alternative to homicidal thoughts; they are not as dangerous as homicidal thoughts or not wrong at all. They do not grasp the gravity of their thoughts because a depressed person is playing by the rules of the depression and not normal behavior. If someone speaks about suicide, even flippantly, it should be taken very seriously. Whomever a depressed person confides in should constantly press for therapy and or medication as the next step.

Depression does not only manifest itself mentally. Huge amounts of weight loss or weight gain; insomnia or oversleeping, and loss of energy are all physical signals of depression.

Do not abandon therapy if your first counselor does not feel right for you. Therapy should be treated like a doctor’s diagnosis: if a second, third, even fourth opinion or trial is necessary then so be it. Finding the right therapist is a heavy commitment made according to personal choice. When people are not making progress in therapy, they think that something is wrong with them and that it is not the fault of the professional. Maybe perhaps you and the therapist are not melding first as people regardless of the professional-client relationship. Maybe, the therapist reminds you of some one who drudges up negative feelings from your past causing more stress. This is something to discuss with a new therapist.
Life events like a job loss, a family member or friend dying, work stress, failed goals, marriage, as well as a divorce, new medications and drug use-can all trigger depression. Some of the preceding may even be done in reaction to an onset of depression. Some may think that it is a normal feeling to feel helpless in the aforementioned circumstances, but depression can deprive you of the ability to change your situation. To avoid a relapse, a person prone to depression should learn to recognize when an event may become stressful and try to intercept the onset of the illness. Also depressive people avoid indulging in negative thinking by writing these feelings down in order to see their irrationality. Also a person susceptible to depression should refrain from alcohol and drugs abuse because such activity could trigger an episode.

Disadvantages Of Online Education

Till now all I have done is talk about the benefits of online education; all that it gives us for less money. All we can acquire by just sitting at the ease of our houses. But as we all know nothing comes without a disadvantage. If something gives you benefits and comfort, it must somewhere have something that is not that beneficial and can be a little bit hurting. Everything has a cost to it. So does online education.

One major drawback in online education is the lack of technical skills required to pursue an online degree. Most people are still not that technologically advanced to cope up with the methods that are used to make online education better. I dont mean that all students are not technologically equipped; however ever there still are a large number who lag behind. Even many of the lecturers and administration people themselves find difficulty in operating the programs to teach or monitor the students. The tutors, especially, have had acquired their degree through traditional means and are mostly not very well versed with the gadgets.

Secondly, the most important thing required to student online is a computer and internet connection. However people in regional and far flung areas still dont have access to this commodity. It is quiet expensive for them to purchase a computer. In one place where online education helps students from different areas meet and study together, there on the same time it creates a difficulty where a student cannot consult or discuss a technical problem occurred to him as he may not find anyone from his area.

Online course designers can sometimes wrongly anticipate computer technology advances. This leads to courses being developed for implementation on computers which were expected to become available in the future, but which did not become available; (Alexander, S. (2001) Education and Training E-Learning developments and experiences Vol. 43, Iss. 4/5, pg.240.)
The cost of an online degree is not always very low as thought by students. Some degrees may cost much more than if they were taken traditionally due to the cost of the multimedia accessories and materials involved in the syllabus. These costs may even leave behind the costs of accommodation and travel in local education.
Online education sometimes becomes very difficult to maintain. One of the reasons why a student moves towards online education is lack of time. He finds it difficult to maintain a balance between job and college hours. But even whether studying online you need to devote time in order to get grades and pass courses. At college and school, students have pre arranged time tables. Whereas while studying online you have to set a time table yourself or all your efforts go wasted.
Another major disadvantage I’d count is the lack of interaction. Even though students interact with their tutors through online learning systems, however one still cant hear questions and discussions of other students at the time of lecture delivery. However nothing is totally free from disadvantages. Online education also has some. It now depends on the student how he manages everything.
